A Cinema of the Abstract Crossover

One of the latest projects of Masaaki Yuasa, one of my favourite directors work series like The Tatami Galaxy (2010), which this is set in the same world of. Its own story, but very much continuing on from the original material, it makes a nice circular experience when the early television series was one of the few titles available in the West for a long while, and was the only title of his I had ever seen originally.
